Quickie Newsletter June 17

June 11th  2:30 – 5:30  Following on from our very successful May tea dance we have decided to make these a monthly event.
For June we have Joan’s Stroll, a fun class with a very nice stroll routine. Tracey H. will be giving a brief refresher on the Cha Cha.
After your very positive feedback we are changing a few things to make the afternoon more enjoyable. More varied music, ballroom tracks played in groups of two, a better microphone system for the dance announcements and home made cakes.
Your welcome to bring your own drinks, there will be free water and squash available all afternoon with tea and cakes being served at 4.00pm.
£5.00 with free tea and cakes

June 18th  3:30 pm 8:00 pm   Once again Dance Dedication and Chris and Rob are running “Jive on the Farm” This charity event is now a firm favourite with many of our dancers.  Gates open at 3:30 with afternoon teas being served from 4:00pm. Dance music all afternoon. Of course we will be playing Heads and Tails and a raffle with some really great prizes.
There will be a few stalls for you to look over and plenty of space for overnight camping.
We will provide Marquees in case of summer showers but we would like you to bring something to sit on, your own drinks (alcoholic is fine) and a picnic if you wish. If you would like to bring a Gazebo there is plenty of room in the rose garden.
Tickets from Angie or Chris are £10.00pp

July 1st 8:00 – 11:00 pm    Freestyle at Whitfield Village Hall, only £8.00, tickets on the door
