Our fabulous Friday Freestyle modern jive events at Chobham have been proving so popular
that we have decided to relocate our Smooth Modern Jive nights to another, more spacious
venue.
As of Friday 11th May, our mid month Smooth Modern Jive nights will be held at the fabulous
Pavilion Ballroom, Bisley.
This is an excellent and well known venue, having a large sprung dance floor, said to be one of
the finest in the south of England.
We hope that you will come and join us for this exciting new experience.

These are primarily 'modern jive' events, but with a taste of 'smooth'.
The evening commences at 8 p.m., with a 'Smooth Moves' class, which will feature stylish
'smooth' moves and tips on technique.

The class is aimed primarily at dancers with experience of standard modern jive moves.
The class will be taught by the excellent Julie Manning, a well known, popular, and highly
respected professio nal dance teacher.

(No partner is required).

The format for the evening is as follows:

Smooth Modern Jive lesson @ 8 p.m.

Freestyle Smooth / Modern Jive dancing - 8.45 p.m. to 1 a.m.

We offer great music, an excellent ambience in a beautiful spacious venue, having a licensed
bar.

DJ Dave T, says that 'dancers have a need to be inspired both rhythmically and melodically in
order to fully express their creative passion'.
He is famous for playing some of the best music around, including a mix of smooth & modern
jive favourites, and a generous dose of latin, swing, & blues tunes.
