UK-Jive was first launched 10 years ago, back in January 2001. Little did I realise the site would grow to what it is today! Since its initial launch, the site has promoted over 22,000 events and now regularly serves Modern Jive news and information to around 1,500 visitors a day.

This latest version really has been a labour of love! First started 2 years ago, it's been very difficult to find sufficient time to complete the site. Please do bear with me. Over the coming weeks, I'm sure bugs and errors will need to be fixed which I will endeavour to resolve as quickly as possible.

There is still new functionality to be added which I am working hard on. I hope to be able to update you on that very soon.

In the meantime, I hope you find the new site useful. If you know of any Modern Jive classes or events that aren't listed, do please direct the venue organiser to UK-Jive and ask them to list their details.

Hi Folks!

Well, the Christmas and New Year Festivities are a distant memory now, leaving just the guilty feeling of a few calories to burn off, and the snow finally seems to have departed - so everyone seems ready to dance! We re-opened both the Kent venues last week and welcomed lots of our regular dancers back - plus some new faces. Great to see everyone!

Sarah's Modern Jive is in its 10th year and going from strength to strength, now merging with sister company to form 'BritRock Modern Jive Dance Company'.

The Surrey Swing Dance Society are launching a fabulous new dance night in a great venue with a sprung floor.
