So here goes

SATURDAY MAY 19TH

Tomorrow Saturday 19th May sees the team on the Isle of Wight at the Riverside Centre for a complete day of modern jive. We are running a dips and drops workshop at 9am until 12pm, then a double trouble workshop from 1pm-5pm...and then we have the fantastic band Blue Train coming and playing live music as well as a mix of the best dance tunes for a freestyle from 7.30 until 11pm...So we should all sleep well Saturday night. We still a few places left on the workshops (although very limited on the double trouble) and you can join us for the freestyle in the evening and pay on the door. We are going to keep the door price down to £10 and not the previously advertised £12...I know its a bit more than a usual freestyle but trust me the band are worth it. Dips drops and seducers 09/06/2012 £50 per trio

RETRO FREESTYLE MAY 26TH 8pm-11.30pm

Our next freestyle at Waterlooville is one of the favourites, its all gone retro baby. The best music from 60s 70s 80s and 90s all in one eveing of great dancing. There will be a fancy dress competition as well so put your glad rags on and join us on one of the best dancefloors around for a great night of dancing. Just £7 on the door

OLD GAFFERS FESTIVAL

On Sunday 27th may the Team will be at the Old Gaffers Festival at Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight. We will be dancing in the main arena to the tunes of boogie woogie pianos and anyone that wants to join us to show people what we do, have a dance and try and encourage some new dancers to join the fold. We will be able to dance in three slots from 11am-12pm in the quay marquee, from 1.15pm-2pm and 4pm-4.45pm in the square. Any support you can give, maybe handing out flyers and talking to interested parties, would be very much appreciated.

OTHER BITS AND BOBS

Our June Freestyle at WACA is on 30th June at 8pm until 11.30

The Riverside Centre venue is closed for the bank holiday Monday 4th June so our classes will not be running that day.

Finally after months of promising the new website will be online in the next couple of weeks, it is very exciting and keep checking in at www.teamleroc.co.uk to see the update.
