Newsletter January 2016

Now that the holiday season is behind us it’s time to get back to dancing and planning our events for 2017 (scary isn’t it)

The pre Christmas parties went well at both venues with over 60 dancers attending each night and more food than we could possibly eat (thanks to everyone who bought a plate).

The inbetweeners freestyle was really well attended with over 90 dancers coming to join us for Disy’s last night DJing for Dance Dedication as she is shortly moving even further away.

New Years eve was good fun and Dover Town Hall made us feel really welcome, music was normal party stuff but we all got some dancing in.

The Warner weekend went down a storm with all of our guests and even through it rained nearly all the time it didn’t dampen our spirits with the stragglers getting to bed at 4am. (or so I’m told)

Our new venue at Whitfield village hall is just going from strength to strength with over 70 dancers there on Tuesday. If you’ve not had a chance to get along there it is well worth making the effort as there is such a buzzing atmosphere..

Boughton Venue has been a little quite after the break (I think we’re all missing Disy) but we are having a big push to get our regular dancers back on the floor for Monday nights and a campaign to attract new members.

Our next freestyle is at Boughton on January 16th with Mick playing the music and as always a full bar. Only £8.00 to get in and don’t forget to bring your raffle tickets for the chance to win a Rotate dance shoe voucher.

We have a the Night Before Valentines Freestyle at Whitfield on the 13th of February. No bar but your welcome to bring your own tipple of choice.
