Newsletter December 2014

Looking back over the last year I am proud of all that Dance Dedication has achieved, We have had a great social weekend at Warner with over 50 dancers and their partners having a great time. We have raised over £2300 for Demelza with our fantastic “Dance for Demelza”. We have supported Daniel a young man who is raising the sponsorship money for his trip to the International Scout Jamboree in Japan (and paying for a scout from a developing country to attend). We have raised over £500 for the Movember charity group and have had a lot of fun along the way.
I think the best part of the whole year has been the continued great support that all our guests and crew give to all the events that make up the DD calendar. Some things I have tried have not turned out as well as I had hoped but so many other things have succeeded far beyond my expectations. So as always, flying in the face of political correctness I would like to wish all of our guests a happy Christmas. I also wish that each and every one of you achieve your desires in the new year.
Thank you for being part of the madness and fun that is Dance Dedication. Mick

This week is our annual dinner/dance at Blue Birds (so no normal class night) This event is sold out, don’t forget drinks 7:30 with dinner at 8.00 and dancing through until midnight.
The Venue reopens after the break on January 8th.

Boughton Venue
Boughton has now closed for the Christmas break and reopens on Monday the 5th of January.
Sittingbourne Venue
Sorry to say that the numbers at this venue have dwindled away and that the venue is no longer economic so after the Christmas break we will not be reopening. A big thank you to all the dancers who have supported us at this venue and to the crew who worked so hard in trying to make it a success.
As they say “you don’t know unless you try”
